I'm the CEO of Suramericana de Eléctricos (Suraelec), a company dedicated to the distribution of electrical supplies for large construction projects in Colombia. My work sits at the intersection of construction supply chains, automation, data systems, and artificial intelligence.
Rather than approaching business purely from a commercial angle, I treat companies as systems that can be engineered. My focus is on reducing chaos, eliminating human error in operations, and designing processes that scale smoothly.
My guiding belief: most operational problems are actually design problems.
Suraelec
Suraelec is an electrical supply distribution company serving large construction firms and engineering contractors. We operate in B2B electrical material distribution, providing supplies for residential and commercial construction projects across Colombia.
My role goes far beyond traditional executive management. I'm deeply involved in operational architecture, technology implementation, commercial strategy, automation design, data systems, and process documentation. The focus isn't simply selling electrical supplies — it's building a modern, technology-enabled supply company.
Strategic Vision
The vision is to transform Suraelec from a traditional distributor into a digitally native infrastructure company for construction supply:
Digital Sales
E-commerce, WhatsApp-based sales, customer portals, online catalogs, and automated quoting systems. Reducing friction between contractors and supply availability.
Process Automation
Automating repetitive processes with n8n, Power Automate, AI agents, and APIs — from customer onboarding to order tracking and internal reporting.
Data-Driven Ops
Inventory analysis, product classification, cost tracking, client pricing models, and supply chain insights using SQL, SAP Business One, and structured databases.
AI Workflows
AI sales assistants, document parsing, product classification models, automated quoting logic, and customer interaction bots powered by LLMs.
What I'm Building
Inventory Counting System
QR-based inventory system with dual independent counts and a third count to resolve discrepancies. Eliminating human error in inventory control.
AI Product Matching
Reads product lists from PDFs and automatically matches them with our internal database using AI. Solving the problem of different naming conventions across companies.
Customer Quotation Portal
Digital portal where clients search products, view availability, receive price lists, and generate quotes with custom pricing structures.
AI Sales Assistant
WhatsApp-based AI agent that answers customer questions about products, availability, and company services. Reads conversation history and escalates when necessary.

I maintain an active lifestyle with endurance sports — running and cycling. I've completed half marathons and maintain a consistent training routine. Currently focused on improving overall physical performance and building strength.
I'm also a father to a young daughter. Family plays an important role in my life and long-term perspective.
